How lip balm is made
Melt and blend
Waxes and butters are melted together, oils added, then flavour and tint once the blend has cooled slightly so the flavour does not flash off.
Pour at controlled temperature
The blend is poured into tubes a few degrees above its setting point. Too hot and it shrinks and cracks as it cools; too cold and it sets with air pockets.
Set and cap
Tubes cool, the top is flashed smooth, then capped and labelled.
Check
Fill weight, twist-up action, surface finish and melting point are checked so the balm does not soften in a pocket.

Why lip balm is the classic first product
A lip balm costs very little to make, sells for a healthy multiple, ships light and almost never breaks. That is why so many beauty brands, candle makers, cafés, gyms and influencers launch with one. At 100 units it is also the smallest real test of whether people will buy your brand.
Beeswax or vegan
Beeswax gives the classic firm, glossy stick. Vegan balms replace it with candelilla or sunflower wax, which sets harder, so the oil balance is changed to keep the glide. Both run on the same line; choose by your brand, not by price — the difference per unit is small.
Gift sets and bundles
Lip balm is the product most often bundled: a trio of flavours in a box, a balm with a hand cream, a gloss with a matching lipstick. Tell us the bundle and we quote it as one SKU.

Can I get a vegan lip balm?
Yes. We replace beeswax with candelilla or sunflower wax and plant butters, and supply the ingredient list for your vegan claim.
Can you add SPF?
No. SPF makes a lip balm an over-the-counter drug in the US, with separate testing and registration. We keep lip products cosmetic.
Do you make lip gloss and lipstick too?

Can I choose the flavour?
Choose from our flavours or ask for a custom one. Unflavoured is available for sensitive-skin lines.
